I picked up Pat Oleszko at the airport Tuesday night and we went to MOCAD to start setting up the installation/performance she is doing with Lolita Hernandez.
Lolita is the artist that is listed in the Art X information; Pat is not. I did not make it to the opening last night but hope to see their event tonight at 7:00 pm. Feeling like I'm coming down with whatever has been going around, so maybe not.
You have to check out Pat's website to get any idea of how wild and wonderful her stuff is; I can't do it justice. But here are a couple of pics I took when setting up that might give you a hint. She does things that have volume - stuffed costumes, etc.
